SHIPPING AND HANDLING POLICY

 We understand our customers expect fast and secure delivery.  All orders begin processing the day received.  All in stock items are generally shipped within one to two business days following payment authorization. Sorry, we do not ship internationally, or outside the USA. Unless you choose a freight upgrade, most orders are shipped UPS ground service and will arrive in 8 to 12 business days from date of payment approval.  Enhanced delivery services include UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air. UPS does not currently ship on weekends and national holidays.

Alaska and Hawaii Orders
We will be glad to process orders for our customers in Alaska and Hawaii.  However, orders to these states carry higher shipping costs.  Quoted shipping rates or special incentives for free freight listed on our web site do not apply on sales to Alaska, or Hawaii.  Special shipping and handling charges will apply and should be confirmed prior to transfer of funds.

PRODUCT RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

At The Hunting Optics Store, customer satisfaction is our top priority and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.  We have set up specific guidelines to ensure a quick and hassle-free return and exchange process.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order you may return it within 30 days from date of delivery for a full refund, (less all shipping charges).  All items must be returned in new condition in the original box, with all of the original packaging and product information. The Hunting Optics Store reserves the right to impose a 15% restocking fee, or refuse a refund/exchange on any sale for items that have any indication of use, or which are returned without all product, or packaging information.

If you have your product for over 30 days and become aware of a manufacturers defect, please refer to the manufacturers warranty statement and contact the manufacturer directly.  If you have any problems with the manufacturer, or need any assistance of any kind, please contact us at support@thehuntingopticsstore.com.  We will be glad to assist you.

How to Return Product


Please contact The Hunting Optics Store by email at returns@thehuntingopticsstore.com.  Provide any information on your order that will prove helpful and relevant in the return process such as product defect, shipping damage, wrong product, or other applicable written explanation and  information.  You must include the brand, model number, product number if possible, your name, address, phone number, and contact information.  A copy of the original invoice will be required, along with original packaging, documentation, and inserts.  Once we determine the appropriate destination for your return, we will provide full instructions, return authorization number, and assistance with your return.  We will require you to ship packages using UPS ground service.  For your protection all items must be insured with return carrier for full product value.

HUNTING SCOPE RETURN POLICY

Rifle, Shooting, or other Hunting Scopes may be returned within 30 days so long as they have not been mounted, (placing the scope in rings or attaching to a weapon constitutes mounting).  Once mounted a rifle scope is considered used and used products are not eligible for refund, exchange, or return.  Please be sure that this is the scope you want prior to mounting.  If the scope is suspected of being defective it must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty service or exchange by the manufacturer.  For return information and authorization please contact us at returns@thehuntingopticsstore.com prior to returning your order.

BACK ORDER POLICY

Due to manufacturer back-logs and raw materials availability, some items may not be in stock at the time of order.  Back orders may be requested at the time of order and are valid for a period of three (3) months from the date of order.  Back-ordered items will be shipped when available and without notification.  We do not accept back-orders for amounts under $100.00.  Please indicate in the box if you request an item be put on back-order.  Thank You.

DAMAGED MERCHANDISE AND RETURN POLICY

Inspect your order immediately upon delivery.  Slightly damaged packaging should be noted to delivery personnel, thoroughly inspected, and denoted on delivery receipt.  Grossly damaged items should be refused.  All damaged or missing items must be reported by you to the delivering carrier.  The carrier is responsible for merchandise damaged in shipping and they will contact us to re-ship your damaged goods and returned the goods from your order that were damaged.  If you have concerns regarding items damaged during delivery please contact our website at support@thehuntingopticsstore.com.

SALES TAX POLICY

The Hunting Optics Store web site may advertise and/or offer to sell merchandise without sales tax. These offers are extended to all United States purchases except those where the billing address of the purchaser is located within the State of Wyoming. Since our principle place of business is located within Natrona County, City of Casper, Wyoming we must apply a Wyoming State Sales Tax to these purchases. The current state sales tax rate varies by county, but generally averages five percent (5%).

Tax rates are subject to change without notice.The Hunting Optics Store will make every effort to keep our sales tax policy current. The tax that you pay at the time of purchase is the correct sales tax in the State of Wyoming.
